Our Story
For more than 40 years, NextGen Empowerment Method, Inc. has served youth and families by providing trauma-informed care, transitional support, and opportunities for personal growth. Through decades of service, we discovered a simple yet powerful truth: “lasting transformation begins with healing.” As we walked alongside young people, we realized that many of the challenges they faced were deeply connected to the strength and stability of their families.
That understanding inspired a broader vision. In 2021, Sister-to-Sister was launched as a safe space where women could heal, grow, and lead. As the program expanded, it welcomed young girls into leadership training which developed the Young Ambassador Leadership Academy. And, in 2025, a meaningful partnership emerged with BROCODE, an established brotherhood dedicated to developing men through mentorship, accountability, and leadership. Together, these experiences confirmed that women, men, and youth achieve their greatest potential when they are supported together, not separately.
Today, NextGen Empowerment Method, Inc. has evolved into the National Family Alignment Initiative, Inc. (NFAI), a family-centered ecosystem committed to strengthening women, developing men, empowering youth, and aligning families through healing, mentorship, leadership development, and faith-centered growth. While our name has changed, our mission remains the same: to create environments where healing is possible, families are strengthened, and future generations can thrive.
